Manufacturing Process

Cheese being produced in boiling facility.

Cheese Formation

The milk mixture is boiled boiled at 212 °F for about 1 hour. Stirring the boiling milk gently and continuously is necessary to thicken and form the cheese. It is then compressed for the drying process.

Cheese being stored in a cellar for drying.

Drying Stage

The drying process for the cheese takes around 15–20 days for it to completely solidify. After the drying period, we transport the treats to a smoking chamber to give the cheese sticks its smoky flavor.

Everest Yak Chew treats cut in different sizes.

Cleaning & Cutting

The cheese is then transported to our processing unit where they are stored or cut based on customer requirements. The last ingredients of lime juice(used to clean the treats) and salt are added.
